Asha Menon is a visionary, seasoned HR leader, and an accomplished creative professional with a proven track record in all aspects of People and Culture Management; a strategist and forward thinker who brings a broad perspective to brand, culture and engagement. She headed Culture at Zalora Group as the Regional Director, Culture and Organizational Effectiveness.
Asha graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of London and she brings a culmination of close to 2 decades of corporate and consulting HR experience after having served brand names like ZALORA, SONY, Citibank, Agility and REA Group Asia. Prior to joining Zalora and in the last 3.5 years, she had created a niche for herself in the consulting space by focusing on Innovative HR with the aim to reinvent, re-engineer and transform processes into delivering impactful market-leading HR solutions.
She deploys concepts from serial learning and best industry practice by implementing integrated plans to ensure accelerated development and growth, building continuous synergy towards employee engagement and wellbeing, and the alignment of culture code to that of Organizational goals. Asha is also an active player in the space of Design Thinking, Agile Manifestos, Thought Leadership Development, and an advocate for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging which she navigates through a compassionate lens.
Asha received certification in HR Auditing by the Open University Malaysia and is a qualified HR Auditor. She has been in the esteem panel of jury for the Asia Recruitment Awards and the HR Excellence Awards organized by the Human Resources Online Singapore. Asha has quite a high profile in the HR profession in SE Asia, doing speaking event at various HR conferences and rather impressively was awarded last year the “Top 100 Most Influential Global Human Resources Leaders” by the World HRD Congress, an award which was not applied for, but rather awarded in recognition of her contributions to the HR industry.
